Support Dell Inspiron 3421 (i3)

Recommended Posts

Good morning people,

First of all to congratulate the site / forum, I have learned a lot from the materials and questions. I have intermediate technical knowledge in hardware and Windows and would like your help to win this battle, which is to install MacOs on non-MAC equipment. I have a Dell Inspiron 3421, version of the i3 processor. in internet searches some users who have the same equipment report that they managed to hack successfully for all devices on the notebook. I can currently install Yosemite but only on Legacy. but I just install it and the work area looks peaceful. but video with some bugs, and no devices installed network, wifi, sound. I downloaded all the images of yosemite for the latest versions but since sierra they are already UEFI. all UEFI images when creating the bootable flash drive via transmac or balenaEtcher always give the same error.

OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi
Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: no
Error allocating 0x1655 pages at 0x0000000000c7a000 alloc type 2
Error loading kernel cache (0x9)
Boot failed, sleeping for 10 seconds before exiting...

Researching the error I found on tonymacx86.com the information that would have to replace replace OsxAptioFixDrv with OsxAptioFix2Drv in EFI / CLOVER / drivers64UEFI or the other way around, a user had the same problem with the Dell Precision build, and replaced OsxAptioFix2Drv with OsxAptioFixDrv. How do you make this substitution? is it by means of files or by command line editing any file?
