Mac Os Mavericks Installation USB Fails To Boot

Question

Specs:
GPU: Geforce 710GT
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo & 6GB Ram

PC: Hewlett Packard (HP) dc7800 small form factor

Basically i want to install mavericks but every time i try to boot from the D: Drive (USB Mavericks) it boots to windows and not to the installation, i tried burning it, i tried isos, i tried everything but it still wont boot

can someone help?

So it means there is something wrong with your BIOS configuration.

What are the settings available in your BIOS?

Having the same problem. There appears to be no EFI directory (or partition?) after reimaging the USB drive. Could this be related to the issue?
