Timed out on Mouse input stream

Recommended Posts

I am trying in install Mojave on an Asus Vivobook Flip TP412FA.

My old macbook just will not boot anymore so I tried the rout of downloading without a mac. Went through the whole process of making a bootable drive.

I made the changes to bios that I was able to make. I couldn't disable CFG-Lock (no options) and couldn't find an OS-type in the system.

I boot into the installer option, tell it to install and it always hangs up and gives me the error "Timed out on Mouse input stream"

Thinking this was, you know, a mouse/trackpad issue, I tried disabling then enabling the trackpad in bios, tried using an external mouse, nothing seems to work.

Whyyyy? Please help.

Computer info:

Version 10.0.18363

Intel i7-85650 8th gen

on processor Intel® UHD Graphics 620

Bios version TP412FA.305
