Unsuported CPU and Unsupported PCH Error

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have been attempting to install Niresh Catalina for some times now the first step of installing goes well and it restarts and again the second part with the black screen and apple logo installation window (where it shows amount of time remaining). After that window now it keeps restarting on the command screen with the visible errors being:

"Unsupported CPU"

"Unsupported PCH"

Kindly help. Am using,

'hp 15-g018sv Pavilion, core i7 2.4ghz 12gb RAM with a new 240gb SSD, graphics nvidia-740 graphics"

Could be that is why there is an error "Unsupported CPU"  better way to fix it to Fake your CPU ID with Clover.
