Reboot loop, probably kernel panic, Dell Optiplex 9010 i7-3770

Recommended Posts

Hi, thanks so much for this resource. I'm setting up a Hackintosh for a friend from the Niresh distro. I don't know Mac and he doesn't know anything except real Macs, so we're kinda flying blind.

What's happening is just before reboot a pile of text is displayed then it's gone. How can I generate a debug file, and where is it saved? I tried a few things but should probably just ask directions at this point.

It does sometimes boot in safe mode, so the install can't be that sideways.
