Hackintosh Catalina on Asus Z390-A/Intel i7-9700/NVMe SSD

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have been trying unsusccesfully to install Catalina on Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard with Intel i7-9700 processor and 512 GB NVMe Samsung 970 SSD. I tried using SATA SSD, both DP and HDMI outputs, but it always gets stuck on basicaly the same spot. BIOS is configured excatly as specified in instructions for Hackintoch Catalina. Printscreen on this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Zv9eiFy56uzViFRMJhN_ifz-cezcxEmn/view?usp=sharing.

Can you please advise what parameters to edit to make this configuration work.

Thank you very much.

Matjaz

You need to add EC SSDT into your Clover Bootloader.

SSDT-EC-USBX-DESKTOP.aml

Navigate to /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched folder and paste SSDT-EC-USBX-Desktop.aml there.

If some folders are missing create them
