macOS Monterey - Boot from USB - NOT - WORKing

Recommended Posts

I've downloaded 2 versions of macOS 12 hackintosh DMGs ; The Niresh - one and the Hackintosh Shop - one .

I've prepared the USB - stick (tried 2 of them / USB2 + USB3 in various USB Ports 2 & 3) using TransMac .

My BIOS is set up "correctly" after following guides found 'round the web .

I have the latest BIOS - update(d) .

I've also tried various EFIs with no success .

Somehow I can't get any further than the Clover - GUI . When I select to boot the macOS - installer all I get is a minus - mark or an underline in the upper left corner of the screen .

I have tried various boot args -no_compat_check slide=0 slide=1 -v -f , etc .

Funny ... as I tried to boot the first time from the USB - flash drive I got some code flashing  on the screen .

On the sequent boots all I get is that underline / minus mark .
