USB Mouse Doesn't Work During Setup

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello. I'm new to this hackintosh world. I'm trying to install MacOS X Mountain Lion in my PC. My PC is not very high end, so I'm going for the oldest MacOS available.

Problem :

My mouse doesn't move while in the MacOS install section. But my keyboard works. I've googled a lot but didn't understand whatever it was being suggested, as the type of .dmg file given in this website is different. Is there any fix for this ?

BTW, I tried toggling "FixUSB" in the options, still doesn't work 😞 .

Please help, I really wanna experience Hackintosh.

Thank You

*PS*

PC Specs

Intel Core i5 660

4 GB DDR3

Nvidia GT 710 - 2GB

Mercury PIH55Z Motherboard

Windows 10 x64

Plug mouse into a USB 2.0 Port if available.

Tried all available USB ports, including, front panel, and my motherboard doesn't have USB 3.0 port.

In the Volume selection menu that comes after booting from USB Installer.

Ok I tried going into the options and typing it in "boot args", still no luck.

I have a PS2 mouse too, but that doesn't work in the boot menu itself.

Is there a way I can use PS2 mouse ?
