  1. Hey I know this thread is pretty old but I was wondering if High Sierra ever worked out or if this solution could be reaffirmed in some way
  2. I am trying to determine whether or not I need to get a new graphics card in order to run any version of macOS on my computer. I found this thread saying that High Sierra should be compatible, but I've also found a few sources (1, 2) that say the opposite. I've tried to run Mojave and experienced an error screen that I think was caused by a wrong gpu. I just want to make sure that High Sierra really is compatible with the GPU I currently have. Anyone speaking from experience or armed with another source that says the 1650 is compatible would be a big help. I'm working against a deadline, and due to a whole bunch of ridiculous circumstances, I'd have to wait a while before I can test if High Sierra works for myself, and that combined with the realities of trying to get another GPU working would make that deadline impossible. All that to say that I can't just test High Sierra for myself to see if it works without first spending a bunch of money on a new GPU I might not even need. I have the exact same specs as the guy in the first thread. Any input appreciated.
